Icons and colours

What the icons in toolbars and table rows do, and what the green, amber, red and grey colours mean.

For everyone 6 min read Updated

Hover over any icon in HAPR to see its name. This page lists the common ones and the colours that go with them. The names below are the ones the screens show. Not every icon appears on every screen, so each table says where to look.

In a toolbar

These sit above the attendee table on the Attendee manager.

On a phone, the add, download and group icons fold into the three dots menu.

The Globe is greyed out and says Registration not started yet until the person has started their form.

The Delete button in the bar that appears when you tick rows also uses a bin. It asks you to confirm before it permanently removes the attendees. Bins elsewhere, such as on a team in the edit drawer, remove that item.

Badges beside a name

Small round badges appear next to an attendee's name.

Travel and room needs

These icons sit in the travel columns of the Attendee manager. Hover to see the full sentence.

IconMeans
Plane, litFlight required
Plane, offFlight not required. They answered no and nothing is booked
Plane, amberThey answered no, but a matched booking exists. The hover text ends with "check"
Bed, litAccommodation required
Bed, offAccommodation not required
Bed, amberThey answered no, but a hotel is assigned. The hover text ends with "check"
Fork and knifeCatering Required when lit, Catering not required when off
SuitcaseBaggage Required when lit, Baggage not required when off. One per trip
Identity card, litVisa Required. Off, it says Visa not required

If you can edit registrations and the attendee is not locked, the plane, bed, fork and knife, and suitcase icons are buttons. Pressing one asks you to confirm, then switches the need on or off and records the change in the attendee's activity history. An amber icon proposes switching the need on. The identity card is display only.

Colours

ColourMeans
GreenOn track, done or required, such as 90% or more picked up, or Submitted
AmberNeeds attention, such as 75% to 90% picked up, or a registration that is Started
RedA problem, such as below 75% picked up, Over block, Visa Rejected or Cancelled
GreyNot needed, not started or off

Registration status

On the Attendee manager, the status pill is green for Submitted, amber for Started and red for Cancelled. Pending Invite is grey.

Visa and other statuses

The status lists on the Attendee manager use colours you can change. In the settings drawer, open the colour next to a value and choose from Grey, Green, Light green, Amber, Blue, Red, Purple, Teal or Pink. For example, Visa issued starts green, Visa in progress blue and Visa Rejected red.

Room block pick-up

On Room block management, each room type shows its pick-up.

Pick-upColour
90% or more picked upGreen
75% to under 90%Amber
Below 75%Red, with the words "attrition risk"
More rooms than the blockRed, Over block
No block setAmber, No block

Progress bars on the event overview

The registration and booking progress bars on the Event overview use their own bands.

ProgressColour
Over 100%Dark green
Above 75% up to 100%Green
50% to 75%Amber
Below 50%Red

Dark green means more people registered than the team has slots. Nothing has gone wrong with their forms. The allocation is short, so the organiser should look at it.

Good to know

  • On Room block management, a padlock sits beside Contracted room count. It shows locked by default, with the hover text Unlock to edit contracted rooms. Press it to edit the numbers, and press it again (Lock (stop editing)) to protect them.
  • Hover text is the best guide. If an icon is not on this page, its name appears when you point at it.

For how the figures behind these colours are worked out, see How the numbers work.
